Ninja Lantern Shark - Glow-in-the-Dark Womens Tee
Ninja Lantern Shark - Glow-in-the-Dark Womens Tee
Five-color, glow-in-the-dark print on black or dark turquoise unisex or muted indigo women's, 100% cotton shirts.
The Ninja Lanternshark is a mesmerizing shark with large emerald green eyes, specialized predator teeth and sharply curved dorsal spines for protection.
Discovered in 2015, it is the first of its glowing cousins to be found off the Pacific Ocean of Central America. And speaking of cousins, it was the young relatives of lead author and long-time friend of Cotton Crustacean, Vicky Vásquez, who gave this unique looking deep sea shark its name! The Ninja Lanternshark is named for its uniform black coloration and reduced photophores (glowing organs), which are reminiscent of a Japanese ninja's typical outfit and stealthy behavior.
Catch this tee while supplies last, so this shark can glow in your closet just like it would in the depths of the Pacific.
But there's one last scale to add to this fish tale! Your purchase supports REAL deep sea shark research through Vicky's established nonprofit, the Rogue Shark Lab! Half of all proceeds from this shirt go directly to the Rogue Shark Lab research and outreach programs.
